On December 17th, the Pricing, Data Analysis and Coding Contractor (PDAC) for CMS announced there would be a change, effective June 1, 2013 for all collagen dressings. Specifically the announcement says for a product to be assigned to a collagen dressing category, the dressing must contain, at a minimum, 90% collagen. The codes connected with this announcement are A6021, A6022, A6023 and A6024. Read additional information HERE.
